What is Programming?

💻 Programming Concept

Programming is giving step-by-step instructions to a computer. Just like a recipe tells you: "Take 2 eggs → beat them → add salt → pour into pan," a program tells a computer what to do, step by step.

In Pega, you don't write traditional code. Instead, you configure rules — which are essentially instructions you give to the Pega platform. But the *thinking* behind it is the same as programming.

📘 How This Works in Pega

When you create a Flow in Pega, you're writing a "recipe" for how a case should move → step 1, step 2, step 3. Each shape in the flow is an instruction.
